Mom Podcasts You Should Listen To

Mom Podcasts You Should Listen To

Podcasts are quickly becoming a great way to get information, insight and entertainment while on the go. Whether driving in the car, puttering around the house or sitting down and enjoying the audible words on your topic of choice, these are some of my favourite mom podcasts you should add to your library!

Mom Podcasts

Typically I find my podcasts on Apple Podcasts, which is already installed on any apple device. But there are hundreds of streaming options from Audible (by Amazon) to Spotify. Podcasts are a great free option to gather insight on a topic and be entertained.

These are some of my favourite mom podcasts to listen to!

Christian Motherhood

Busy Moms Christian Homes

Am I promoting my own podcast? You can bet your bottom dollar that I am! I can only type so much in a blog post before it gets too long, but I can tell more stories in my podcast, which is why I started it.

With weekly devotions as well as longer episodes about all things motherhood, all from a Christian perspective, I hope to reach busy moms who are building a Christian family and home.

It’s Little Bit of Lavender in audible form!

Her Intentional Bible Study

Bible studies on the go, when trying to be intentional about spending time with God, jump in with Rosa! Her devotionals are insightful, Biblical and sure to keep you encouraged all day.

The Habits & Home Show

Diving into practical ways to keep your home organized and (semi) clean! Lisa has some great ideas to help you manage day-to-day clutter, stuff and general activities. For any scatterbrained folks out there (like me) this podcast is perfect for you!

Parenting

KIND Families Podcast

This Podcast by author and speaker Kari Baker discusses “KIND” Kids (Kids with Invisible Neurological Differences). She has first hand experience with a KIND kid, raising a son with autism and was set on a course to help fellow parents who face similar struggles.

Whether you have a child in your home who is KIND or not, this podcast has great tips for parenting children of all abilities. Raising children isn’t easy and having ideas, support and information helps parents make informed decisions about how they will navigate situations. Check out this podcast for all the tips, tricks and help!

Not So Normal Parenting

This podcast is great for those of you who like personality types, Enneagram or Myers Briggs. It helps break down these types so you can understand and create deep connections with your children.

I have always enjoyed learning about personality types, especially Myers Briggs. I found it incredibly helpful in navigating relationships with other people, whether at work, at school or at home. And being able to understand my children and how they tick makes it easier to be a proactive parent rather than a reactive one.

This podcast is fantastic if you want to dive deeper into who God made your children to be!

Mom Health

Stop Peeing Your Pants

Pregnant moms, postpartum mamas or mamas with older kids, it’s always good to spend time focusing on that pelvic floor!

This podcast gives practical tips on how to deal with issues. As someone with zero pelvic floor experience, I learned so much just from listening. It’s amazing what insight you can gather from a few episodes. Definitely keep this one in your library!

Share this with someone who is looking for some new podcasts to add to their library!

Budgeting

The One Income Family

As a family that lived on one income for many years, I find it refreshing and insightful to listen to someone who helps people budget and manage money! With simple tips and ideas to keep costs down, this podcast is perfect for stay-at-home moms or families that are managing on a single income.

Moms with Older Kids

Cooking With Teens

This mom podcast has great ideas for getting your kids into the kitchen and learning lifelong skills. It’s more than teaching your kids how to use the stove, it’s building good habits that they will need when they leave home. It also brings you together as a family. They say the kitchen is the heart of the home, so let it fill the love cups of your children, even in their teen years!

Business Moms

Simple SEO & Marketing

Faith is one of my favourite podcasters and not just because she is a barrel racer! She is funny, she has Biblical insight and she knows what she is talking about.

She is an organic marketing mastermind with so much insight into the world of online business, SEO and writing copy. Definitely give her a listen if you do any kind of business, online or not, she is a wealth of knowledge!

Online Business for Christian Women

Stef is the reason I got into podcasting. Her supportive Facebook community and insight into how to start and produce a podcast is what helped me launch my own.

She also has great insight into online business, coming at things from a Christian perspective and putting God first.
