Looking for a way to share the Christmas story in a unique way? Why not put together a Nativity Gift Basket that can remind the recipient about Jesus’ birth! Everything you need is in the post below.

I’m always looking for creative ways to share the Christmas story. From my Nativity Trail Mix to this Christmas Gift Basket, anything that spreads the joy of Jesus’ birth.
My siblings and I have been exchanging gift baskets at Christmas, instead of drawing names and purchasing for one person. It’s been fun picking out little items to put together a basket filled with goodies.
This year I decided to go on the theme of Jesus’ birth and choose items that related to the Nativity story or who Jesus is. It took some creative thinking but I found some good things that filled the basket nicely.
Get creative this Christmas with a Nativity Gift Basket!

I spent a while coming up with ideas and then had to check stores to make sure I could get what I wanted. This is what I came up with:
Pot of Gold chocolate – gold from the wisemen
Mugs – Jesus fills our cups to overflowing
Candy canes – shepherd’s hooks
Candle – Jesus is the light of the world
String of lights – the stars in the night sky
Tea towels – swaddling cloths Jesus was wrapped in
World of Flavours chocolate – Jesus came to save the world
Phone charger – Jesus connects us to the power source (God)
I had some other ideas, things like wool socks (for the sheep), star-shaped ornaments or a Christmas CD (to sing the joy of Christmas like the angels did). But this is what I stuck with.
It also depends on what is available to you. I shop at Superstore, which is where I found the “World of Flavours” chocolate. Substitutions can be made though.
You can be creative with this, finding other elements that relate to Jesus’ birth or his life and adding them! Leave a comment below to share your ideas.
Share the Story
I encourage you to share the story of Jesus’ birth in whatever way you can. If you have the opportunity to do a gift basket (for a friend or a raffle), try making one up that represents the elements of Jesus birth!
I’ve included the printable I used (download is below). Use it, share it and spread the joy of Christmas through a fun gift basket!
Merry Christmas!
