Scriptures for Fall
A time when the leaves change and we enjoy the harvest. God is good and it is a time to be thankful, and reflective.
Here are some of my favourite scriptures for fall that remind me of God’s faithfulness and the joy He fills our lives with!

Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
You may not be bringing in a harvest of wheat or corn but God will bless you for the good work you are doing. He doesn’t forget us and the changing seasons are a reminder of that!
Psalm 107:8-9
Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
for his wondrous works to the children of man!
For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.
The perfect verse for thanksgiving! God is good, His steadfast love fills our hungry souls through every season.
Deuteronomy 16:15
For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.
Motherhood feels like a thankless job. Sometimes we get caught up in the little tasks we do every day and we forget that God will bless the work of our hands. From hugging our children to cleaning bathrooms, our work is for God and He will fill us with joy in doing it.

Ecclesiastes 3:1
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.
I pull this verse out frequently, especially during the struggles of being a mom. It reminds us that every season, be it spring or fall or babies or toddlers, will come to an end. The moments we love become memories of joy and the struggles we face become testaments to God’s faithfulness.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Again, as we step into the season of gratefulness it is important to thank God in all circumstances. Even if we don’t feel thankful or are struggling, God is good and is deserving of praise.

Psalm 100:4
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
There are so many wonderful things God has given us, from comfort to strength. Enter your Bible study or worship time with thanksgiving and praise this fall season. Despite everything that might be going on around you, thank God for His blessings and put your faith in His promises!
