Little Bit of a Story

As a teacher I saw firsthand the effect a home could have on kids. When students came from a firm foundation they were able to rebound faster, problem-solve better and manage emotions more effectively. Unfortunately at that time there was nothing I could do to help their home life and it was heartbreaking

Fast forward a few years and I became a mom with a home of my own! And guess what…

Raising kids is hard! Raising a Christian home is hard! This whole motherhood thing is hard!

But I knew I could bring God into my home. He could join me in every difficult parenting decision, every motherhood meltdown and every happy laugh we experienced.

As I settled into a mom of two, God put it on my heart to share my experience with others. To encourage and strengthen other moms who felt the same way I did.

My vision for this blog is to encourage and inspire women, especially moms, who want to bring God into the forefront of their heart and home. On those lonely days when everything seems to be falling apart, I want moms to know they are not alone and that they are capable of raising strong christian families.
